Quick Tip – Force SSL with .htaccess

Quick way to force SSL ( https:// ) by using .htaccess. Edit your .htaccess and add the following:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
